The objective of this workshop is not only to raise awareness on the issue of gender bias, but also to foster active discussion about concrete solutions that are currently, or could potentially be, implemented at individual and institutional levels.
The speakers are: Prof. Athina Tzovara (UNIBE, Co-author of the paper “Gender bias in academia: A lifetime problem that needs solutions“); Prof. Susan Gasser (Former President of the SNF Gender Equality Commission) and Carine Carvahlo (Director of the Equality Office, UNIL)
This workshop on Gender Bias in Academia is organized by Dr. Youna Vandaele and Roeltje Maas in collaboration with Skills for Scientists and the APNS.
