The Master in Economics at HEC Lausanne has an international recognition built by extremely high qualified professors. The students acquired strong analytics and quantitatives knowledges in order to become economists. The Master also gives excellent background to undertake a PhD anywhere.
The students can specialize in two of the four main domains:
- Macroeconomic Policy
- Microeconomics Policy
- Quantitative Economics
- Business Economics
Moreover students who are interested in Behavioural, Economics and Evolution could specialize in this area. This specialized program is combined with courses in the faculty of Biology at the University of Lausanne.
Thanks to this Master, students can work in public sector like: Swiss National Bank, SECO, United Nation. Some students choose to work in private sector like: Pictet, Deutsche Bank . Or some students decide to undertake an academic career.
